Character: Zexion

Background:
Zexion was once the youngest of Ansem the Wise's apprentices, a young boy named Ienzo. He was most curious about the inner workings of the heart, and of the effects of darkness upon it. Eventually, after much research as an apprentice he and the other apprentices conspired to overthrow their wise leader and take over the research themselves.

Eventually, they became Nobodies, and thus Zexion was born. VI of Organization XIII, the Cloaked Schemer. He is believed to be one of the more powerful members, and possibly fourth in the chain of command. Zexion is the appointed chef of the Organization and is normally located in the basement areas.

Zexion's special ability is to use the shadows to create and wield illusions. This makes him a most fierce foe, allowing him to copy any form he chooses. He can even take the shape of someone's best friend to fight them if he must. His weapon of choice is a Lexicon. A book that has every record of their research and of the Organization. Zexion is the scribe as well, recording events and other important data. The Lexicon has the ability to trap opponents within it, sealing them inside an illusion world, where Zexion has them at his mercy.

Other than this, Zexion remains cool and intelligent in most situations, very rarely appearing unnerved. He has few 'friends' in the Organization due to being mostly a loner. He is very cunning, using others to achieve his goals rather than dirty his own hands.


~Ienzo~

Ienzo was once a highly intelligent teenager, whom was most coveted by his parents. His family was well off, and paid much in order to keep their only son in the most well doing schools. His attitude was always rather calm, and he would never resort to violence. Not physically, at least. His trick to remaining at his high standards were to trick others into hating each other rather than himself.

His grades were among the highest in his class, his ambitious and willing to learn more than surpassed the standards set by his mentors. Eventually, his lust for knowledge grew so powerful, he would exclude himself from group work, so as not to have his work 'tainted' by the lower beings in his class. He was prideful, cunning and quite well known. He was somewhat physically frail, but his wits more than made up for it, and he would do whatever necessary to avoid strenuous physical activity.

Ienzo's hobbies were few, mainly consisting of cooking, reading and playing chess. Yes, chess. He was a master of the game, allowing his opponents to think they had the upper hand before taking them down in an instant. None were able to surpass him, and he owned several chess championship trophies. He read many novels, most of them thrillers and mysteries. He almost always managed to predict the end shortly after beginning, enjoying his skills of intuition.

Soon enough, his grades and attitude caught the attention of Ansem the Wise, a most famed and intelligent scientist known for his research into the heart. He extended a hand to Ienzo and offered him apprenticeship, which the knowledge-hungered young man accepted instantly. Ienzo turned out to be much more intelligent than Ansem had expected. His senses of wisdom and knowledge led him to spur on Ansem with their experimenting, even allowing himself to be used if necessary. He had eventually surpassed the other apprentices, and believed that he would soon surpass Ansem. The other apprentices soon caught up with him, and wanted to dispose of their wise mentor in order to claim their work. Ienzo agreed, and saw it as an opportunity to make himself even more powerful....
